JAKKS - More Irwin reissues

JAKKS is releasing Irwin series 2 figures under the name “The Elite Fighters”. These figures have, to my knowledge, only been sighted at Wal*Mart (edit: And Target) stores, though if you’ve seen them anywhere else, I’d appreciate a comment.

The figures don’t have information about the reissues on the back of the card, so as of right now, the confirmed sightings include:

  • Frieza form II
  • Jeice
  • Burter
  • Yajirobe and Korin (and I simply can’t get over how out of place Yajirobe is in a series entitled “The Elite Fighters”)
  • Nappa (added from comments section)

If you’ve seen more figures in this series, post them in the comments section!

I’m really excited that JAKKS is doing this; releasing all of these older figures individually will be a great boon for new collectors, just like Irwin’s releasing the Bandai and AB figures was a boon to those of us who started collecting Dragonball in 1999.

Why would JAKKS make TWO Nappa figures??? Because they have him in a two pack with Raditz.

Im glad they are doing all the sets over again! I think they should make some new one from those sagas too for example they should make Captain Ginyu (i hated Bandais) Gouldo and Ricoom.

Yeah, i think Jakks should make oldie action figures. Perhaps Tien,Yamcha,Kami,Popo,and Chaotzu(dammit, forgot how 2 spell it) from the saiyan saga. Also they should have those which dan said from the freeza saga.

I dont know why every1 is complaining about Yajorobi, He was a fighter in DB and he was a fair challenge for Krillen and assisted (BIG TIME) in the saiyan saga. But yeah, other than that he’s pretty pathetic.

I think that Jakks is doing a great job. Yet, I haven’t seen about any of their figures on the shelves. Heck, I didn’t get a chance to grab series 12 and I haven’t seen any of the elite fighters or the forces of evil 2 packs. O well my bad luck always comes in. lol But I can’t wait to get that Nappa/Raditz 2 pack. I haven’t really heard the greatest things about these figures. My friend has them all and he said that his all broke because of cheap plastic. I don’t care I’m still gettin um!!!

ss4gogeta is right about the series ten figures he is also wrong about the elite fighter part it is just the regular series 10 with a new package i bought the gotenks at the great mall in milpitas Ca last week at a video game shop called gamestop. When will Jakks Pacific make they non- battle damaged recoome with a scouter and guldo. The new figures coming out are cool (not series 15 the ones in the fall photo gallery) the goku and krillin are Great the recoome is alright, but i want a non battle dammaged one. The ginyu is also good i hope he comes with a scouter though.

Hey,goku-316,do you live in East Longmeadow or Conneticat? There is a big mallin Conneticate with a Target sign and in Target I saw a DBZ shelf with all the Elite Fighters except for Garlic Jr.,Captain Ginyu,Reecome,and Guldo!!!!!

Duhhh they havent even come out yet ryan fisk accept garlic jr he came out in 2000. The other ones recoome, captin ginyu, and guldo havent came out yet in the basic figure series. I hope they make those three with scouters though.
