New York Toy Fair 2003 - JAKKS Pacific

JAKKS Pacific, in an early press release, has announced their coming Dragonball Z lineup for the new year! It appears that the early half of 2003 will feature products developed by Irwin, such as:

Basic Figures

JAKKS will release the planned Irwin figures from series 12 - 14. Price point $6.99.

Dragonball

JAKKS will also be releasing Dragonball figures on the 5.5-inch scale, starting with shrunken-down versions of the figures revealed for IF Labs at last year's Pre Toy Fair:

Basic Figure Two-Packs

Starting this summer, JAKKS will be releasing basic figure two-packs! These will retail for $12.99, and be incredible for putting together battle scenes!

Series 1 - Summer 2003

• Goku and Vegeta

Series 2 - Fall 2003

• Super Saiyan Goku vs Frieza
• Super Saiyan Gohan vs Perfect Cell

Striking Z Fighters and Energy Glow Figures

JAKKS will be continuing these lines as well. Striking Z Fighters series 4 is set for release this summer (lineup TBA).

Energy glow series 4 will feature:

• Super Saiyan Gohan
• Super Saiyan Goku w/Halo
• Battle Damaged Super Saiyan Goku

Series 4 will retail for the much-cheaper-than-Irwin price of of $9.99, in the spring. Series 5, with new "power-up" features, will be available this summer.
